John Yeong,
Club
Chairman, Team Manager (First Team) |
 |
Founder
of the modern day Vipers Football Club, John has
taken it upon himself to take this club onto
greater things. His passion for the game
and this club runs deep, to the extent that some wonder if he does
indeed have reptilian blood.
A firm believer that football should be played in its purest form: simple
yet effective, players are left with
an indelible mark on what Vipers' playing philosophy is about. |

Tan Li Yu, Director
of Finance |
 |
Co-founder
of the club in 2008, Li Yu was appointed as first
captain when Vipers ventured into
competitive football. His good accounting sense and leadership ability have made him an automatic
choice to oversee the club's financial books.
As director of the hugely popular football website Footballopod.com and Fandi Ahmad Academy (FAA), Li
Yu has become less involved with Vipers on the pitch although he is still a key part of its management.

|
Richard Lee, Club
Secretary, Team Manager (Reserves & Youth)
|
 |
A
lifelong Vipers fan, Richard first stumbled into
team management as a caretaker manager of Vipers
Evolution in early 2010. The departure of ex manager Rudi Rashid and subsequent no show from Aloysius
meant the team faced tumultous time, and Richard was quick to stabilize it.
His performances in helping Vipers Evolution to avoid relegation from ESPZEN Div 6 impressed the club's
management, who subsequently put him in charge of Vipers AS after the club's restructure. |

|
Stephen Lee, Team
Captain (First Team) |
 |
Better
known as "Steve" for his weekly columns on the
Vipers' website, the first team skipper has endeared
himself to players and staff alike since
he joined Vipers in early 2010. The Australian has also shown a great
level
of commitment and dedication to be appointed as first team captain.
Helping the gaffer on a weekly basis on his team selections and always eager to share the load on
logistics, Steve is a real find that doesn't
just come along every year. |

|
Lau Hung Tuan, Club
Doctor & Medical Advisor |
 |
A
pioneering member of the club, Tuan left Singapore
for the UK to finish his medical studies. Six years later
he is back to be part of the club's
set up, and the respect the club holds for him remains just as much as
before he left.
A certified medical doctor, Tuan is the expert opinion within the club when it comes to player injuries, and
how those in the treating room should rehabilitate from them. |
|
|
Ewan
Lim, Logistics
Chief, Goalkeeper coach |
 |
A
fiery character on his day, Ewan was previously part
of the first team set up before being tasked to share
his experiences with the youth in the Reserve and Youth section of the club. His dedication to the club
remains as important as ever even today.
The jerseys OIC for Vipers AS, Ewan has warmed to his role over time and is still a regular face at Vipers
gatherings, while his jokes still tickle
from time to time even if its at times at the expense of his AS
manager. |

Alex
Liau, Senior
Club Advisor, Ambassador |
 |
Formerly
managing the club's reserve team Vipers Social, Alex
has since stepped down from his full time
role and has taken on an advisorial role. He is also an ambassador for the club, and often speaks fondly of
Vipers in his tea breaks.
Although he has not achieved major successes unlike his senior counter parts, Alex's passion and drive for
the game is unparalleled and he is also willing to take on the team for special competitions and projects. |
