Background |
Scoring over two century of goals in an amateur football
career spanning fifteen years
in the competitive scene both locally and
abroad at school
and club level, John is the veteran in Vipers' strikers
department. Though he may have lost half a
yard of pace since his hey day he still possesses great ball
control, while his
good finishing makes him a
constant threat in any opponent's penalty box.
Having suffered a serious ankle injury in 2007, John has
made a remarkable recovery to become
a regular goal scorer
in each of the club's seasons. Season 2009/10
was John's best yet as he
notched up 60 goals in league and
cup matches to claim all of EFL, ESPZEN and Vipers golden
boots,
impressing NFL Div 1 champions SCC (NFL) to sign him up in April
2010. |
